Vlax Romany is an Indo-Aryan dialect/language spoken mainly in Southeastern Europe by Roma people. It is considered either an independent language or a dialect of the Romany language, as it is mutually intelligible with many other Romany dialects (mostly Balkanic, Carpathic). Vlax Romany is the most widely-spoken dialect of the Romany language. Most Vlax Romany speakers live in Bosnia-Herzegovina (400,000) followed by Romania (241,617), Colombia (79,000) and Albania (60,000).
