Description:

Caddo is a Caddoan language of the Southern Plains, spoken by the Caddo Nation of Oklahoma. Few native speakers remain, but the tribe is working to teach the language to the youngest generation again. Caddo has three short vowels /i/, /a/, and /u/ and three long vowels, /iː/, /aː/, and /uː/. The long vowels are indicated in writing with a following colon.

Caddo apparently has three tones: mid (unmarked: a), high (marked with an acute accent: á), and falling (marked with a grave accent: à)..... full article at Wikipedia
