Description:

Itonama is a moribund language isolate of Bolivia. Diphthongs: /ai au/. The postalveolar affricates /tʃ tʃʼ/ have alveolar allophones [ts tsʼ]. Variation occurs between speakers, and even within the speech of a single person.
