Ika is a Niger-Congo language of the Igbo cluster, spoken by 22,772 people (as of 2000) in Delta State, Nigeria. Ika dialect is different from Ika people of AKwa Ibom State of Nigeria (Ika local government area of Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria or Ika-Annang people). Ika people (Ika local government area of Akwa Ibom State) is one of the eight Annang local government areas of the present thirty-one local government areas parent in Akwa Ibom State. Ika local government area of Annang people or Ika people were formerly in the old Abak which was later sub divided into five new local government areas, namely Abak, Oruk Anam, Etim Ekpo,Ukanafun and Ika local government areas.

Annang is the language (Annang / Ibibio / Efik language group) of Ika local government area of Akwa Ibom (Ika people of Akwa Ibom) state of Nigeria. This is different from Ika Language which is one of the languages spoken in Delta State of Nigeria...... full article at Wikipedia
