Description:

The Isirawa language is a language isolate in Malcolm Ross' classification of Papuan languages that had been linked to the Dani languages within the Trans–New Guinea family by Stephen Wurm. It is spoken by about two thousand people on the north coast of Papua province, Indonesia. Ethnologue (2009) includes it in the Tor-Kwerba family.
